Joanna Wood set up her business twenty years ago working from the dining room of a Battersea flat. She now heads a group of four companies with design projects around the world. As the decorating company developed, the lifestyle theme and decorative objects became in demand from clients and the general public. Joanna then decided to open her retail shop in the fashionable area of Pimlico Road, London. From the first customer in 1985, the shop has grown from strength to strength.
Joanna actively takes part in the sourcing of homewares from small independent suppliers in England to far flung countries around the world. Joanna has a keen eye for the unusual and strives to present pleasurable, tactile gifts and homewares in a comfortable and homely shopping environment.

The shop features lighting and furniture for contemporary and traditional homes, and an abundance of gift ideas for the annoying little brother to the doting grandmother. Wonderful fragranced Rigaud candles, quirky gifts that inspire your imagination and presents that survive the test of time. Cushions, blankets and fur lined throws make a wonderful night in more cosy and warm, and delicate Limoges tableware makes a beautiful dining experience. There are exclusive Joanna Wood slippers made from Lewis & Wood Chelsea Check fabric and fabulous Moroccan house slippers in silk and leather.

Joanna's interest in putting the customer first has, with the help of 46 other retailers in Pimlico Road, brought together the Pimlico Road Association.
